Dr. Adriana Kahn joins Center for Breast Cancer at Smilow Cancer Hospital

Adriana Kahn, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Medical Oncology) and cares for patients as part of the Center for Breast Cancer at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center in New Haven. Dr. Kahn completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Yale School of Medicine, and her residency at the University of Connecticut. She also completed a fellowship in breast cancer in Canada and a residency and medical oncology fellowship at the Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil. She received her medical degree from the Universidade Federal da Bahia, Brazil. Dr. Kahn’s research focuses on breast cancer and drug development. She was awarded the 2023 Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Award from the American Association of Cancer Research Career (AACR), as well as the 2023 Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) for her ongoing work. She is the author of multiple peer-reviewed publications and poster presentations at national and international conferences. In addition, she is leading investigator-initiated clinical trials and is principal investigator of ongoing clinical trials at Yale Cancer Center.
