About

Biography

Ani [pronunciation: AHH-knee] is a first-year PhD student in the Yale Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program (INP). She is broadly interested in the cognitive neuroscience of human memory development and its application to educational settings. She is also passionate about science communication, mentorship, and community outreach. Previously, she studied hippocampal long-axis organization with Joel Voss and James Kragel at The University of Chicago. Before that, she m Psychology and English at Emory University on the QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship. Her work is currently funded by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) and the Wu Tsai Graduate Fellowship.
