What is the purpose of this trial?
Who?
- Pregnant mothers who have a family member with autism
- Newborns and infants under the age of 4 months who have a family member with autism
What?
- Studies of social, emotional, and cognitive development from birth through 24 months
Why?
- Discover processes contributing to development of autism in infants and help to improve their long-term outcomes
What Else?
- This study is free of cost to families
- Families are compensated up to $300 for study participation
- Trial withNational Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)
- Ages4 months and younger
