Jeffrey S. Pollak, appointed as the inaugural Robert I. White Jr., M.D. Professor of Interventional Radiology, has interest in embolotheraphy, including for acquired and congenital vascular abnormalities and malformations, fibroids, and malignancies, as well as other minimally invasive treatments for tumors, including local ablation.Source: Yale News
Robert White, MD, Receives 2010 Career Achievement Award
Dr. White is a professor of diagnostic radiology and the director of the Vascular Malformation Center at Yale University. After training in medicine, cardiology and diagnostic radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he served as the director of its Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory for 17 years before taking on the chairmanship of diagnostic radiology at Yale in 1988.
