Biography

Jared is a dedicated lab and data manager for the Brennand Lab at Yale School of Medicine. He holds a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon, where he conducted research on neural correlates of autism, odor processing, and olfactory navigation. He has earned numerous awards, including departmental honors, and is an alumnus of the McNair Scholar’s Foundation. After his graduate studies, Jared further honed his expertise as a Research Associate in the Waxman Lab at Yale, contributing to studies on pain behavior and spasticity following spinal cord injury.

In his current role as the manager of the Brennand Lab, Jared ensures the lab's daily operations run smoothly, managing budgets, coordinating supplies, and maintaining equipment. He enforces safety protocols and fosters collaboration within the lab, making it a productive and safe environment for scientific research. Outside the lab, Jared is also an accomplished artist, creating paintings, drawings, leatherworks, and bronze sculptures. He enjoys martial arts and creative writing projects.
