Erin MacDonnell works as Faculty Support in the Computer Science Department within the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). She is responsible for procuring supplies and equipment for faculty, generating and submitting expense reports, assisting in department event planning, and providing assistance to faculty and students. Erin received her B.A. in English and Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University. Before joining the Computer Science Department in 2022 she was the Research Coordinator for autism research in the McPartland Lab in the Child Study Center for 14 years. Erin began her career at Yale in 2005 in the Psychology Department conducting research on pregnant women and the effects of stress, medication, and depression on pregnancy outcomes.
