Biography

Kavish Saini is a postdoctoral researcher at Yale University, where he works at the intersection of nanotechnology, neuroscience, and biomedical innovation. He earned his PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso and holds a master’s degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur. His research interests encompass nanoscale materials, electronic and quantum devices, molecular sensing, and nanomedicine platforms. During his research career, he has worked with advanced nanofabrication and characterization facilities, including the U.S Department of Energy Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT) at Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico. His work has contributed to publications in leading journals, including Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, JACS, etc and has been recognized with awards such as the IEEE NANO 2025 Student Design Competition Award in the Sensor Category, etc. Kavish is passionate about developing interdisciplinary technologies that connect fundamental materials research with transformative applications in healthcare, neuroscience, and emerging nanoscale systems.
