Beyond the Bench

The Department hosts a monthly “Beyond the Bench” series that features seminars, workshops, and panel discussions focused on skill-building and mentoring concerning the many aspects of academic and non-academic science-related careers. Speakers and panelists will be drawn from our department, the Yale community, and, when possible, also from outside of Yale.

In the academic year of 2025-2026, seminars are planned on addressing the topics of research presentation, practical tips on research (including image analysis), inclusion in the working environment, postdoc fellowships, academic job search, and career in patent law, medical science liaison/writing, and research foundation. Seminar information will be posted below.
