The Behavioral Medicine & Psychodermatology Research Lab
The Behavioral Medicine & Psychodermatology Research lab has 3 primary aims:
- to understand the psychosocial and behavioral impact of severe dermatologic conditions and autoimmune disease;
- to develop, evaluate, and disseminate evidence-based behavioral interventions that improve patient well-being and clinical outcomes; and
- to educate physicians, mental health clinicians, and patients about the psychosocial dimensions of autoimmune disease to promote comprehensive, evidence-based care.
