Dara Gleeson is a Maternal and Child Health PhD student in the Family Science department at the University of Maryland School of Public Health. Dara received her Master of Public Health degree from the Yale School of Public Health, within the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and on the Maternal and Child Health Promotion track in 2024 and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health from Hofstra University in 2020. Her research research interests are influenced by wanting to understand how the social, structural, and systematic factors within one’s community influence health access, utilization, and outcomes for mothers and children.
