Biography

Sarah Attanasio is a Project Coordinator for the CORE team at Yale New Haven Health. She has over 6 years of experience in academic and clinical research settings. Prior to joining CORE, Sarah was a research coordinator at MedStar Health, in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. In this role she worked with the Orthopedics department collecting and coordinating progressive ACL research as well as writing Systematic Reviews with a group of multi-disciplinary group of medical professionals. Sarah’s research career began at the University of Connecticut in her undergraduate degree. She ultimately stayed on at UConn and earned her master’s degree in Exercise Science with the Korey Stringer Institute. This institute focuses on preventing sudden death for the athlete, warfighter, and laborer, which sparked her passion to improve healthcare outcomes across different populations. Sarah brings experience in all aspects of data collection, study recruitment, ongoing follow-up, analysis, and preparation of presentations for stakeholders, the research team, and principal investigators.
