Janaya Snell

Janaya Snell earned her JD from Northeastern University School of Law. She is a native New Yorker and is also an active member of the New York State Bar. In her most recent role, she was a General Counsel/Deputy Compliance Officer for the Osborne Association, where she provided a broad range of corporate legal advice across numerous technical, business and operational units regarding privacy, cyber security and contracting. She also served as the liaison with outside counsel and other stakeholders. Prior to her most recent role, she was the Assistant Director, Regulatory Affairs with RiverSpring Health Plans f.k.a. ElderServe Health, Inc. where she represented the Plan at administrative hearings, negotiated and reviewed contracts, led the compliance auditing team, played an instrumental role in work plan implementation, and provided project leadership with the special investigations’ unit in the area of Medicaid fraud, waste and abuse. Prior to law school, Janaya managed and provided high quality support to a wide range of professionals ensuring that daily business operations were properly executed. She successfully managed multi-million-dollar contracts, where she assessed and mitigated financial risks, and analyzed regulations before determining the appropriate course of action while collaborating with departmental staff. Janaya is solutions driven and always looks for the good.
