Yale Child Study Center Professional Education Community Meeting

The goal of Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) professional education community meetings is to provide a collaborative and supportive space for YCSC faculty and staff who currently provide and/or are interested in providing educational or professional development offerings external to the department.

Convened by YCSC Vice Chair for Professional Development & Education Julie Wolf, PhD, these meetings provide an opportunity to share ideas, discuss successes and challenges, learn from one another, gain support, and build collaborations. Meetings are typically held every other month between October and June, on second Tuesdays from 2:10-3 p.m. via Zoom.

Who should attend?

All in the YCSC community are welcome at these meetings, and those for whom the following circumstances or roles apply are highly encouraged to attend.

  • As part of your work, you offer consultation to outside agencies (schools, hospitals, pediatricians, parent groups, etc.).
  • You conduct conferences, workshops, seminars, or training sessions for parents, educators, or providers outside of the YCSC.
  • You have existing pre-recorded content that you would like to make available online to parents, educators, and/or providers outside of the YCSC.
  • You are interested in developing any of the above.

Please refer to the department's Outlook calendar for Zoom details, and contact Julie with any questions.
