Extensive Research Description

Michael Skonieczny is the executive director of the Global Health
Leadership Institute (GHLI) at Yale University. Mr. Skonieczny directs the
program operations, including the annual conference, by creating the
organizational structure, the development and implementation plan and research
activities. He also focuses on the long-term success of GHLI by fostering
partnerships with public health agencies and identifying external funding
opportunities.

Michael Skonieczny received his M.A. at George Washington University. He
was previously the director of public policy for the Friends
of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria where he raised AIDS
funding. He has also been the legislative assistant to Congresswoman Rosa L.
DeLauro (D-CT).
