Postdoctoral Associate Position in Biostatistics
A postdoctoral associate position is available in the Biostatistics Department in the Yale School of Public Health. The successful candidate would conduct research in two areas: 1) the development of novel statistical methods for the analysis of high-dimensional omics data. Experiences in methodology, theory, and computation would be equally welcome; 2) the analysis of cancer genetic and genomic data generated in ongoing high-throughput profiling studies.
The postdoctoral associate would work under the direction of Dr. Shuangge Ma (Department of Biostatistics, School of Public Health). Candidates should have a doctoral degree in statistics or biostatistics or a related area. Research experience in genetics and genomics, and strong computational skills is preferred. Experience with large databases such as dbGap or TCGA is a plus.
