June 13, 2024

The Aspen Institute recently named Jiun-Ruey Hu, MD, MPH, clinical fellow (cardiovascular medicine), as a 2024 Aspen Ideas Health Fellow. The fellowship is designed to bring together health care leaders who have the ability to transform ideas into action. Hu joins a diverse group of health fellows from 27 states and five other countries around the world.

“I am excited to bring my ideas about digital health to the Aspen Ideas fellowship,” said Hu. “I believe many aspects of decision-making in medicine can be modeled computationally to help clinicians make more accurate diagnoses and evidence-based treatment decisions. I’m thankful to all of the faculty, fellows, residents, postdocs, and medical students at Yale who have contributed to our work and am excited about contributing to this important conversation.”

Hu is a cardiovascular outcomes researcher who specializes in designing digital tools to increase the practice of evidence-based medicine.
