Our Yale School of Medicine Department of Surgery breast cancer surgeons are experienced with some of the most complex breast cancer cases, minimally invasive procedures, clinical trials, and innovative oncoplastic techniques.

Patient Care

Our breast cancer surgeons work closely with a team of experts from the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven. You will receive comprehensive care and treatment from nationally and internationally renowned specialists in breast surgery, breast imaging, pathology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, nursing, physical therapy, genetic, and psycho-oncology. This team meets on a weekly basis to evaluate each patient’s imaging film, pathology slides, and individual progress.

Living With Breast Cancer


Your entire team will be involved in every step of your breast cancer journey from annual mammograms to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. This includes our resource center, The Boutique, and the Yale Survivorship Clinic. The entire process is designed to help you become, and stay, cancer free.
