Dr. Gary Friedlaender tests the musculoskeletal integrity of his patient's arm.

The Yale Musculoskeletal Oncology Service provides an integrated team approach to these difficult problems including expertise from medical and pediatric oncology, diagnostic imaging, pathology, and rehabilitation. As such, this is a unique service in the state of Connecticut and one of a select few in New England.

Among special services offered are the following:

• Benign & malignant musculoskeletal tumor management
• Limb preservation surgery
• Adult & pediatric tumor care
• Metastatic Tumors to bone
