The Yale Eye Center is dedicated to enhancing quality of life at home and abroad by improving and preserving vision through world-class patient-centered care, research, and education.
In the Temple Medical Center Building at 40 Temple Street, highly skilled ophthalmologists and staff provide a complete range of services in cornea and external disease, glaucoma and related disorders.
In an adjacent building, world-class scientists work in their laboratories to provide new knowledge that will eventually help the clinicians to better serve our patients. Currently, the principal areas of research focus include glaucoma and disorders of the retina and visual system, which together constitute the vast majority of the causes of irreversible blindness.
