Hecht Faculty Award Application

The Hecht Global Health Faculty Network Award funds new interdisciplinary work addressing global health disparities, such as efforts to strengthen partnerships with institutions in low- and middle-income countries, collect primary data, and develop strategies and policies for improving health and health care in resource-poor settings. The Award is endowed in the Yale School of Public Health and matched by the Yale Institute of Global Health and the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale. Open to YIGH affiliated faculty, two awards of up to $50,000 each will be awarded to proposals that include faculty from at least two schools in the health sciences. In addition, two awards of up to $50,000 each will also be awarded to proposals that include faculty from the health sciences and at least one full-time ladder faculty member in the humanities or social sciences with a primary appointment in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Applications are due on Friday, February 28th, 2020
