Dr. Chaudhry is Associate Dean of Student Research, Associate Professor of Medicine (General Internal Medicine) and Co-Director of the Yale National Clinician Scholars Program. She is conducting a large-scale observational study, SILVER-AMI, funded by NHLBI, of 3000 older patients with acute myocardial infarction. The goal of this study is to understand how non-traditional risk factors, such as frailty and cognitive impairment, impact outcomes of this population. She founded the Yale Center for Healthcare Innovation, Redesign, and Learning (CHIRAL), which studies quality and safety in the hospital setting.
