Yale’s compact campus makes it easy for investigators to connect with one another and promotes the development of multidisciplinary research teams. YCCI aims to leverage Yale’s scientific and clinical environment, as well as expertise available via the CTSA network, to:

Led by YCCI Deputy Director and former YCCI Scholar Marcella Nunez-Smith, MD, MHS, ERIC was established in 2014 to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and training to address domestic and global health inequities and the development of a diverse workforce.
CBIT was co-founded in 2014 by Peter Schulam, MD, PhD, title, and Mark Saltzman, PhD, title, to catalyze team science to foster the development of novel approaches to unmet clinical needs.
