Under the leadership of YCCI Deputy Director Margaret Grey, DrPH, RN, FAAN, YCCI's Community Research Core is closely aligned with YCCI's mission of training the next generation of clinical and translational investigators and providing a robust infrastructure to support research. Her vision integrates investigators from the Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Public Health into community-based and translational research to develop effective interventions for preventing and treating the community's most pressing health conditions.
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Clinical Scholars Program has been the foundation of community-engaged research at Yale for almost 30 years.
