The Office of Research Services provides "one-stop shopping" designed to make conducting clinical research as easy and efficient as possible. Resources and expertise are available throughout every step of the research process, from getting studies off the ground to analyzing data.
One of YCCI’s most important roles is to provide Yale investigators with access to a wide array of state-of-the-art technologies for biomedical research. The Cores have been built by the School of Medicine and augmented by YCCI through strategic investments in instrumentation, pilot projects, and web page development.
YCCI has partnered with the Yale Cancer Center to create a quality assurance and safety monitoring system to support investigators and improve the quality of clinical research at Yale. The Office of QA and Training supports QA activities; study monitoring; training; and review committee administrative support.
In the past, research at Yale has been managed using a variety of paper forms, Access databases and Excel spreadsheets. However, they are becoming increasingly time consuming and complex to administer and Yale is now benefitting from a set of tools and processes that streamline and centralize operations.
