Dr. Menderes is currently an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology after she successfully completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and a second fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Yale. She is associate fellowship director for Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship at Yale New Haven/Smilow Cancer Hospital and for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital. She has presented at multiple national and international conferences and has a strong interest in minimally invasive surgery for management of both benign and malignant gynecologic conditions. She has received multiple awards including ACOG National Faculty Award and APGO Excellence in Teaching Award. She is double fellowship-trained in robotic and laparoscopic minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is the recipient of the Smilow Luminary Award 2020 in 'Patient Experience' for consistently exceeding performance expectations and delivering high-quality care for patients, families and the health system.
