Help Yale Medicine win STAT’s March Madness competition

March 05, 2017

The pioneering work of Yale Medicine surgeon Sanjay Kulkarni, MD, is being featured in an online competition styled after college basketball’s annual March Madness tournament. The competition, called STAT Madness, pits 32 universities and research institutions against each other in head-to-head battles. STAT, a leading website focusing on the practice of medicine and medical science, invites everybody to visit the site and vote for their favorite projects.

Dr. Kulkarni has launched the Center for Living Organ Donors in collaboration with Yale New Haven Health, a program for people who are willing to donate kidneys and parts of their livers to others. The program is creating communities of donors and people who support them throughout Connecticut and beyond. It provides free follow-up monitoring for the donors.

Please cast your vote in this and future rounds of the STAT News March Madness competition over the next two weeks. Hopefully, our Yale Medicine clinicians will prevail!
