International Use of YCCI's Investigative Medicine Program

As part of an NIH-funded R34 grant to build infrastructure in South Africa, faculty members from South Africa come to Yale each summer to take the summer courses offered by the Investigative Medicine Program. A newly funded NIMH grant, Development of an International Guide to Monitor and Support Child Development, will bring additional trainees from Eritrea, Bangladesh, South Africa, and Turkey to attend these IMP courses each year for the next five years. Exchange students from Ghana and Columbia regularly attend IMP courses as well.
