Study for Teens with Depression

What is the purpose of this trial?

The Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center of Hartford Hospital/Institute of Living seeks right-handed teenagers (ages 12-18) who currently have depression or who were depressed in the past. Participants cannot be taking any medications currently for depression, but other types of treatment and past medications are ok.

Qualified volunteers will participate in an interview, some questionnaires, neuropsychiatric tests and a non-invasive brain imaging scan.

Volunteers will be compensated $20 and hour for their time. The study takes 6-8 hours total and can be split into separate visits, if desired.
