U.S. News & World Report has again ranked Yale-New Haven Hospital Behavioral Health Services among the top hospitals for psychiatry in its 2017-18 Best Hospitals rankings.
YNHH has long been nationally ranked in the Best Hospitals poll for Adult Psychiatry Services, and the Yale Department of Psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine has been rated among the top three programs in the country for its medical training program.
In 2016, the department received $58.77 million in grant funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), second most in the U.S., according to a report by the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research.
