The event, co-sponsored by the Yale Alumni Health Network, will include an introduction from Dr. Nancy J. Brown, Jean and David W. Wallace Dean of Yale School of Medicine, and C.N.H. Long Professor of Internal Medicine.

Panelists:

Dr. Carolyn Mazure is the Norma Weinberg Spungen and Joan Lebson Bildner Professor in Women's Health Research, and Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Mazure created and directs Women's Health Research at Yale. WHRY is Yale's interdisciplinary research and education center, which launches laboratory and clinical studies that advance the health of women and uncover sex-and gender differences that influence health outcomes.








Dr. Megan Smith, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and in the Child Study Center, founded Elevate to apply science-based solutions to health care policy.

Dr. Smith has built a nationwide program of community-based interventions for women that show significant reductions in depressive symptoms, increases in employment, and increases in the ability to meet their families' basic needs.













Jocelyn Maminta is a Director of Multimedia for Hartford Healthcare. Over her distinguished broadcast career, Jocelyn has anchored and reported for televisions stations in North Carolina, New York, Wisconsin, and Texas and most recently at News 8 Connecticut.

She serves on the boards of The Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and The Patient Is U Foundation and is a member of the Junior League of Greater New Haven.
