Quotes & Testimonials

Instructions for Quote Component

Using the "Quote" component allows you to insert styled testimonials and/or quotes to a page.

1. Create a new component using the "Quote" schema.
2. Insert a title, quote, source and/or image for each testimonial. The title and image fields are optional. Note: Do not enter quotation marks, Tridion will do this automatically.
3. To have the quote appear in the center of your page with a colored background, insert the component on the page using the "Testimonial Blue, Testimonial Gray, Testimonial Small Blue, or Testimonial Small Gray" component template.
4. Repeat steps one through three for each of the testimonials that you want to place on the page.

Quick Steps

  1. Create Quote component and insert image, if desired
  2. To insert Quote in left column of page, select "Quote box #side" template
  3. To insert Quote in center area of page, select "Testimonial" template

Instructions for Testimonial Galleries

Using the "Quote" in combination with the "List" component allows you to insert styled testimonials and/or quotes to a page.

  1. Create several new components using the "Quote" schema.
  2. Insert a title, quote, source and/or image for each testimonial. The title and image fields are optional. Note: Do not enter quotation marks, Tridion will do this automatically.
  3. Then create a new "List" component. Add the Quote components you already created to this list.
  4. To have the quotes appear in the center of your page in a colored gallery, insert the List component on the page using the "Testimonial Gallery Blue, or Testimonial Gallery Gray" component template.
  5. Repeat steps one through four for each of the testimonial galleries that you want to place on the page.
