Departments & Organizations
Claudia joined the School of Medicine's Web Support Services Team in July of 2016 as their Web Producer to provide both internal and external support to existing projects created by the Services Team. Her role on the team allows her the opportunity to work with clients to create the resources they need to make vital information available to their associated user base, troubleshoot issues, and happily support her team in their efforts to make resources more readily available for those who require them. Her role has since been expanded to Business Systems Analyst & Web Producer to reflect her involvement in higher level projects and the expertise she brings to those projects.
In her spare time, Claudia has volunteered with the Yale chapter of the Massive Collaborative Animation Project the the CCAM as a Project Manager, and based on this experience, gave a presentation at SIGGRAPH 2018 entitled “Emphasizing Empathy in the Pipeline Process” which focused on how those in industry leadership positions could be more mindful in order to promote a better working environment and achieve better outcomes - based on strategies she used in the project. In the past, she has volunteered her time with organizations like the Boys and Girls club of America teaching children from a variety of ages how to make flip books, comics, and stop motion animation.
She also enjoys spending her time drawing, reading, visiting the beach, and playing with her Boston Terrier, Pixel.
