Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging; Chief, Body Imaging Section; Chief, Body Computed Tomography (CT)
Imaging is a mainstay of diagnosis in many urologic conditions. Radiologists are an essential component of our multidisciplinary urology team and are vital contributors to our patient’s care. Our Uroradiologists are part of the Yale Body Imaging group, which specializes in imaging disorders of the Abdomen and Pelvis. Our Uroradiologists have special expertise in disorders of the genitourinary tract. With experts in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and fluoroscopy, Yale Uroradiology is committed to delivering the highest quality diagnostic imaging.
Studies performed at a number of affiliated outpatient imaging centers can be read remotely on the main campus. This allows our patients to have studies performed in convenient locations and interpreted by skilled radiologists at the main campus. Yale Uroradiologists participate in our Urologic Oncology Tumor Boards, where each patient’s images are reviewed and discussed.
At Yale Urology, we firmly believe in the importance of providing the highest quality, integrated, multidisciplinary care to our patients. We recognize that the best treatment starts with the best diagnostics.
