Gerald Portman, MD, has been appointed Assistant Professor of Urology at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Portman will care for patients with all types of urologic needs at the Yale Urology clinic located at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, Connecticut. Dr. Portman focuses a large part of his practice on urologic oncology, including cancers of the bladder, kidney, prostate, and testes. He also helps patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and kidney stone disease, as well as men’s health issues. Dr. Portman has expertise in helping manage stone disease, with experience in minimally-invasive surgical techniques and robotic surgery.
Dr. Portman completed his residency with Yale Urology and a fellowship in Robotic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. Most recently, he practiced as an attending physician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.
