Yale Urology fully engaged at the American Urological Association’s 2025 conference in Las Vegas. AUA's annual meeting is often considered the largest and most prestigious urology conference in the world.
Faculty, residents, research associates, APPs, and alumni delivered 28 presentations overall. Of those 28, 23 were podium talks, two were instructional courses, two were panel discussions, and one was a video session.
The department also came away with some wins.
Fed Ghali, MD, won the best poster presentation in his section, Oncology: Adrenal/Kidney. His poster was "MP14-05: Modeling Survival Outcomes of KEYNOTE-564 with Standard of Care Control Arm Treatment: A Simulation Study."
Postgraduate associate Nethusan Sivanesan won first place for his podium presentation, “Perineural Invasion is No Longer Associated with Prostate Cancer Upgrading on Active Surveillance in the MRI Fusion Biopsy Era.”
