Yale Urology has ranked among the top 50 urology programs in the nation and #1 in Connecticut in U.S. News & World Report’s just-released listing. Yale Urology and Yale New Haven Hospital were 47th in the United States among nearly 5,000 hospitals/programs tracked and surveyed in the annual ranking.
Yale Urology also scored "excellent" and "high performing" [the highest scores available] in nurse staffing numbers, advanced technologies, patient services, and prostate cancer surgery/treatments.
Yale School of Medicine’s urology chair and professor, Isaac Y. Kim, MD, PhD, MBA, says he is extremely proud of the department’s consistent hard work and commitment. “I see this as just another sign we’re on the right road to becoming a destination urology program.” Kim also serves as chief of urology at Yale New Haven Hospital.
