The Yale-UCL Collaborative hosted the Cardiovascular Device Innovation Summit, where leading UK policy makers, NIH and NIHR funders, MHRA and FDA device regulators, VC funders, bioengineers, clinicians, legal device industry members and faculty from Yale and UCL discussed EU/US innovation pathways to enable, facilitate, and expedite cardiovascular device development from early concept to clinical evaluation and market commercialization.
Yale UCL Collaborative
The Yale UCL Collaborative is a multi-disciplinary, transatlantic research, education and clinical collaboration between Yale University, Yale-New Haven Hospital, University College London (UCL) and UCL Partners. This faculty-led initiative originated in cardiovascular medicine and has subsequently expanded to other biomedical fields and other disciplines, including engineering, history, philosophy, and law.
The mission of the Yale UCL Collaborative is to educate people to enable them to make a positive contribution to society, interpret complex issues for wider society and solve important issues through collaborative research and its implementation.
