Biography
Dr. Towns is board-certified in clinical neuropsychology and is an Assistant Professor in the Neurology Department. She earned her doctorate from Antioch University of New England and completed her internship at the James A Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, FL. Dr. Towns completed her postdoctoral residency in neuropsychology and neuroimaging at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Towns works primarily out of Greenwich, CT and sees adult patients suffering from a variety of neurological diseases such as epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, stroke, dementia, and traumatic brain injury. Her primary research interest involves the relationship of sleep and cognitive symptoms in patients with neurological disease. Dr. Towns is also active in her professional community serving as an active member of committees particularly those dedicated to neuropsychological training. She also serves as the liaison-at-large for the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology to the American Psychological Association.
