Medical Education Day at Yale: Rescheduled to June 9
Medical Education Day at Yale (Med Ed Day) has been rescheduled to Thursday, June 9 to accommodate a service to celebrate Ayaska Fernando’s life that will be held at the New Haven Lawn Club at 1:30 pm on June 2.
Ayaska was a cherished member of not only the Yale community, but the Medical Education community, where many got to know him through his director of admissions role.
The Med Ed Day keynote address at noon, by Karen Hauer, MD, PhD, associate dean for competency assessment and professional standards, University of California, San Francisco, is Competency Based Medical Education: UCSF’s Journey to Improve Learning and Assessment.
