NCCN Guidelines for Early Detection for Prostate Cancer Version 2.2021
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) clinical practice guideline on early detection of prostate cancer is typically updated annually. During 2021, however, there have been significant changes in this area, including the utilization of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI), the role of DRE in prostate cancer screening, the definition of certain groups at increased risk of prostate cancer, evaluation of germline mutations, and management of high grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia.
