We are pleased to welcome back Dr. Dhanasopon who joined the Department as an Assistant Professor in the Section of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Dhanasopon will support the Section of Thoracic Surgery and will also spend time at the West Haven Veterans Administration (VA).
Dr. Dhanasopon received his undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from the University of California and his MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California. He completed his general surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and just completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship here at Yale University. Dr. Dhanasopon has 16 peer reviewed publications and has given 10 peer reviewed presentations.
