Please join us in welcoming Dr. Cecelia Helwig to the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Surgery. Dr. Helwig joined the Department as an Assistant Professor in the Section of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Helwig was a resident at the University of Chile and completed both a research and clinical fellowship at the University of California San Diego (Rady Children’s Hospital). She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Pediatric Otolaryngology. Dr. Helwig is also the chair of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology’s Young Members Committee.
Dr. Helwig’s clinical interests include all of pediatric otolaryngology and specifically hearing loss and cochlear implantation.
