Please join us in welcoming Dr. Danielle Bertoni to the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Surgery. Dr. Bertoni joined the Department as an Assistant Professor in the Section of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Bertoni will work with Dr. Mary Pronovost at the Breast Center in Trumbull, Fairfield, and Bridgeport Hospital.
Dr. Bertoni received her undergraduate degree from Boston University in 1999. In 2003, she received her MPH from Boston University School of Public Health and then received her MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2007. Immediately following graduation, she began her residency at Stanford Hospital and was the Chief Resident in 2011. Dr. Bertoni completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship in 2014 and a breast surgery fellowship in 2015. Most recently, she worked as an attending at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in California.
