Our Team
At Yale Surgical Oncology, our multidisciplinary team of surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists is internationally renowned for providing the most advanced medical technologies, surgical removal of benign and malignant tumors and cysts, and customized systemic and radiation treatments for even the most complex gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, intra-abdominal, and breast cancers.
Our surgeons are board certified and have received numerous awards and recognitions for their outstanding achievements in research, practice, and teaching. They are committed to providing the most comprehensive and advanced care available, collaborating with other internationally recognized cancer care specialists at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven, including diagnostic and interventional radiologists, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, imaging specialists, and pathologists. Each week, members of this team meet to review the imaging films and pathology slides of new and complex cases. This collaboration assures that each and every patient at Yale Surgical Oncology receives the best treatment strategy for his or her specific condition and needs.
Whether you are newly diagnosed with cancer or your cancer has not responded to traditional treatment therapies, our team of surgeons and specialists will create a personalized plan based on the latest research, technologies, evidence-based medicine, and the possibility of clinical trials that may be right for you. In your very first visit, you will meet with a surgical oncologist, medical oncologist, and a radiation oncologist who will create a personalized treatment plan before you leave your appointment. Our goal is to have you begin treatment as soon as possible.
