Surgery Research Day 2019

December 17, 2018

The Department of Surgery's second annual Research Day will be held April 17, 2019, 12-5 p.m. in TAC Auditorium. The theme of the event is “charting a course for a success."

The event will include a poster session, surgeon-scientist panel, and keynote presentations by Yale Surgery alumnus Dr. Steven Leach, Director of Norris Cotton Cancer Center and Professor of Surgery and Molecular and Systems Biology at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine, and Dr. James R. Goldenring, Paul W. Sanger Chair in Experimental Surgery at Vanderbilt School of Medicine.

"Academics is integral to our mission and brand at Yale School of Medicine. Dedicating a day to showcasing and sharing our ideas as surgeon scientists is what inspires us all to achieve the best that we can," said Surgery Research Day Committee Chair Dr. Alan Dardik.
