Biography
Dr. David Vermette is a Medical Education Fellow in the Division of General Internal Medicine and a Clinical Fellow in Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Prior to coming to Yale, he attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed an MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas. He completed his residency in Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Yale, and served as Chief Resident during his PGY-4 year. As a clinician educator, his interests include inpatient medicine, shared decision making, and fostering empathy and joy in trainees. He also serves as a Co-Director of the Clinician Educator Distinction Pathway for the Internal Medicine residency programs.
