Research Summary

Dr. Oberleitner's primary research interests are the intersections of substance use disorders and chronic health conditions, primarily in offender populations. Dr. Oberleitner is interested in developing treatments that effectively target the role of emotion regulation, trauma, and gender differences in individuals with co-occurring addiction, chronic health conditions, and/or criminal justice involvement.
