Biography

Dr. Rozowsky did his undergraduate degree majoring in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Cape Town in South Africa in 1991 and continued to receive a PhD in Physics from UCLA in 1998. He switch to the field of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics when he moved to Yale University in 2003. He has been and member of a number of large genomic projects including among others the NIH funded ENCODE and the extracellular RNA communication consortia. Dr. Rozowsky is a reserch scientist working in the laboratory of Prof. Mark Gerstein at Yale. His research focus on developing tools for the analysis of functional genomic data types and performing integrative analyses of large scale genomic data.
