Extensive Research Description

Dr. Camenga’s research focuses on reducing the morbidity and mortality associated with adolescent substance use and abuse. Specifically, her work focuses on improving the identification and treatment of drug and tobacco use; understanding adolescent nicotine dependence and its co-occurrence with substance use; and improving our understanding of emerging tobacco products, such as e-cigarettes . She also is interested in developing and evaluating novel technology-enhanced interventions to reduce drug use in both adolescents and young adults.
