Research Summary
Dr. Yoo's investigative work is centered on understanding and improving the clinical learning environment of surgical residencies including wellbeing, mistreatment, assessment, and the social engagement of surgical trainees. His research group is currently focused on defining informed consent as an entrusbable activity, and novel applications of video coaching in surgical teaching and learning. He is a thesis advisor to candidates for the MD and MHS-Ed degrees offered at the medical school.
